**RECRUITERS AND CANDIDATES BEWARE**
This is a very lengthy and extensive process with the ultimate decision factor being the “connection” for the CEO.
I can confirm absolutely everything the previous person wrote in their review for this particular role.
It went as follows: interview with recruiter, signed an NDA and did multiple full background checks, followed by a timed assignment of their choice, interview with hiring manager, mission statement in the mail, interview with CEO & HR Consultant, in person interview at the office with a 30/60/90 “plan” for the role (I also presented a tracking inventory chart for their kitchen needs).
The entire process took well over a month; valuable time that I don’t have. I was very professional and patient throughout all of it. Waited a full week, 3 times, just for next steps. It was clear they didn’t mind dragging out the process. At the very end of it all, I was told the “connection” wasn’t there for the CEO.
If the connection with the CEO is the deciding factor at the end of it all, then this should be one of the first steps in the process. These people knew exactly what they were doing and how to do it. Getting candidates to do unpaid work for them, and pulling a BS excuse at the end about a connection. Just an absolute waste of my time and slap in the face.
Good luck to you if you’re interested in working for these people.
