I applied for a couple of positions with the company and was looking to potentially relocate. GCG is a big name in the industry and it peaked my interest. The recruiter reached out to me the morning after I applied and explained the role, benefits, and budgeted compensation for the position. Comp was slightly lower than expected but I was still interested in the opportunity. The recruiter scheduled a Teams Interview with some of the hiring managers of the Growing Staff immediately. We spoke the following day and then I traveled for an interview to meet all parties in-person. The Greenhouse is beautiful and everyone from the recruiter to the hiring manager was extremely delightful and went out of their way to help me throughout the process. Much more than I would expect from someone that they didn't know almost at all. I was offered the position and unfortunately had to decline but wanted to show my appreciation for a great group of individuals and a great company.
