We chatted on the phone for the first interview, and I was very confident that my skills matched the job description. She was not quick to answer my follow emails or inquiries about next steps or the timeline for the job. I ended up accepting another job offer, and she called back to tell me that she had a position open that she thought I should apply for - I was confused because it was the same position that I had applied to in the first place.
