I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Graybar in Feb 2010
Interview
Phone Interview with HR, Then with Branch Manager. Then onsite interview with Branch manager. The interview was pretty well organized. Interviewer was working from pre-selected questions, but they also had more specific questions based on my individual experience. The interviewer took the time to describe the hiring process, as well as the company culture and the job requirements. Overall the interview experience was positive.
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Graybar (Saint Louis, MO) in Mar 2019
Interview
Vague, confusing, no tour, no shadowing, poor communication. No job description. Only an hour on campus without meeting others. Manager changed once I was hired. Uncaring. Do you homework. Pay attention to glassdoor reviews.
I applied through university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Graybar in May 2015
Interview
Applied online through my university's career resource center. Was called to schedule a phone interview a week after I applied online. After the 1 on 1 phone interview with the HR manager I had a interview via Skype with district level management who asked the standard questions: Why Graybar? What drives you? When was a time you worked with others to achieve a goal?
Received an offer a few hours after the skype interview.
