Application
I applied online. I interviewed at Grainger (Vernon Hills, IL) in May 2023
Interview
Grainger has a specific way they like interviewees to answer questions. They send you videos and documents to get acquainted with their key terms and expect you to use them when you answer questions. They also want specific examples for each answer. Prep time is needed, don't walk-in and wing it.

Question 1
Tell us about a time when you had a disagreement with someone in your workplace.
I thought the interview process was great! I was given links by the recruiter to understand their interview style and I learned quite a bit throughout. I am a bit confused, however, I was told by the recruiter that I did great and it came down to me and one other candidate. They extended the offer to the other candidate but the recruiter said he potentially had another opportunity in mind for me and would get back to me. Well that was January 30th. I've followed up twice and still no response. A bit confused at this point. A little disheartening as well because this is a great company to work for and everyone I met was wonderful but the lack of communication is just odd.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Grainger (Chicago, IL) in Jul 2019
Interview
The questions were standard and the HR Recruiter made it east to relax and answer questions. It was a phone interview between myself and the HR Recruiter. I have been scheduled for the second interview.
