I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Grainger in Oct 2021
Interview
I met with a recruiter for a screening call. Then I met with 3 employees from the team via video conference. Then I met with the hiring manager and two other senior-level employees - all video conference.
You know, I felt it went well throughout all the interviews. I was complimented on my experience and felt the conversations during each interview were very positive. I answered using the STAR method when it was applicable. Everyone I met with seemed very nice and had a lot of positive things to say about the company.
After 3 rounds of interviews, I heard absolutely nothing for weeks. I followed up with the recruiter a few times until after more than a month I heard they hired someone else. No feedback was given to me as to why I didn't get the role. Honestly, if I hadn't followed up with the recruiter, I doubt I would have heard from anyone. I did not appreciate being ghosted after making it through the entire interview process.

Question 1
Give an example of when you've made a decision that not everyone agreed with.
Straight forward questions about experience and why you want to work in this kind of position. Recruiter was straight forward and I liked that my time was not wasted. They asked questions about salary and explained the benefits int he first interview which was also a plus.
