I applied through other source. I interviewed at Google (New York, NY) in Jun 2021
Interview
The first screening with the HR rep was what you would expect. She outlined the process and basically said it would take longer than usual so if I was moving forward with another company to let her know ASAP so they could make decisions quicker on their end which I appreciated. I then interviewed with two other administrative business partners. The first one was normal and what you might expect. She asked about my background and then gave some scenario questions and asked how I would respond. What I was not ready for was the second interview with the other admin business partner. She basically grilled me and interrupted my answers for 30 minutes. She asked ridiculous critical thinking questions that take time to think through and hard to give a direct response on cue. She intentionally kept grilling me after she noticed I was clearly rattled and uncomfortable. I kept repeating my answers even after she kept interrupting me. Honestly, the scenarios were not realistic and I felt like she was intentionally trying to trip me up to see how I would react. It was really uncomfortable and unprofessional. "How would you name rooms in a Google building so that everyone would know where to go without a map?" I told her it would be a complex situation where I would involve additional team department leads including real estate and workplace. She kept saying "no, this is your sole responsibility. how would you handle?" I get she was trying to see how I think critically but in what world would I be in charge of that task at Google without involving other team members? The whole thing put a bad taste in my mouth and honestly ruined the rest of my night.

Question 1
How would you plan a trip for an exec going to another country where they didn't know the language?
The prorcess was very professional. Went through 3 rounds of interview, all online. Prepare very thoroughly if you want to make it through. They know when you are not prepared so don’t just try to wink it.

They will want to know if you fit into their culture.
I applied online. I interviewed at Google (Seattle, WA)
Interview
Interview process was great. Definitely research the process online as others have described their process and how to thoroughly respond to interview questions. Was then placed in a “pool” waiting on team interviews, never got a call back. Suspect there wasn’t really an opening or was filled internally. Was told to continue to follow up, which I did. It’s been years now and my application was closed.

I sent my resume through a friend's recommendation, after 2 days received a link to take a personality test.
It was very easy, but 2 days later I received an email saying that I would not continue in the process.
