I applied through university. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Google (London, England) in Jan 2008
Interview
tiresome. I had 14 interviews and all the interviewers were repeating the questions. As long as you gave different examples from the previous interviewers then they were happy. I interviewed in Singapore, France, Dublin and London and I couldn't believe how much money they spent on recruiting. Everything was paid for which changed rapidly after you got hired
3-4 rounds of interviews with a lot of personality assessments. not really difficult but time consuming and not a lot of feedback received as to what exactly they were looking for
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Google (New York, NY) in Mar 2024
Interview
Initial interview on the phone with HR specialist. Following that zoom interview with department. Following that in person interviews should be taking place. I did not continue through the process
