Interview
The job was put on hold after I applied. I was contacted a few months later for an interview. I was told to do a powerpoint presentation on how I was a good fit for the job-no other instructions on ppt requirements.
The interview went pretty decent for the questions. They seemed to know nothing about the ppt. I let them know I had prepared it (using Canva and all the bells and whistles). They begrudgingly watched me deliver the presentation in total silence. It’s like they were mad or something. They asked what I was asked to prepare? How do they not know what their recruiting team is asking people to do?
Then silence for weeks followed by a generic rejection.
Horrible experience. They were rude.

Interview
Took a short phone screening. Then invited to an interview with the hiring manager, followed by an interview with the hiring manager and another staff member for the organization. Was then invited to a tour, where the hiring manager's tone soured by the end of it. This was a long process, seeing as they had initially changed the job description between interviews, and I am also out a bit of cash since I had to pay for a cab to attend the tour. I didn't have vehicle access that day. My own experience soured, as I felt great during the interviews, but the tour itself was an awful experience. I felt like the employer strung me along, and did not feel that my time (or money) was appreciated.

Interview
First there was a phone screening interview with an HR representative. Next, I had an interview with a manager and team member from the department. Finally, I had a 20 minute teaching demonstration with about 8 people from the department.

Question 1
Mostly behavioral interview questions related to the skills needed for the position. "tell me about a time when..." I was glad the position asked for a teaching demo as it let me know this would be a significant part of my role.
