There are a few stages in the hiring process, but I only got as far as the edit test. I had an initial video call with a recruiter who found and reached out to me on LinkedIn. After the initial meeting, I was given the edit test which required cutting down 3+ hours of footage into a mini doc-style YouTube video in Goalcast's style. After submitting the video within the time span to complete it, I was "ghosted" for lack of a better word. Much later on I found out I didn't get the job from the recruiter in a vague email. After asking for feedback or reasoning (for my personal development since this was not a paid test), my request was shut down and it was an odd way to part ways. Not a good way to treat creatives you are looking to recruit.
