**Interview Experience for Software Engineer**
The interview process was quite extensive and consisted of multiple rounds:
1. Hackerrank Coding Round (90 mins) – Data Structures and Algorithms-based coding questions.
2. Mettl Assessment (90 mins) – Around 110 aptitude, logical reasoning, and technical questions.
3. Project Submission Round – Required designing an Uber-like application, including HLD, LLD, entities, database design, and flow diagrams. Also had to record and submit a detailed explanation video.
4. Technical Interview (95 mins) – Deep discussion on the submitted project, design decisions, scalability considerations, and personal projects.
5. HR Round (30 mins) – General discussion regarding experience, expectations, and company fit.
6. Leadership Round – Final leadership interaction.
The process took significant time and effort. After clearing all rounds up to the leadership discussion, communication became inconsistent. Follow-up emails and messages received no response for nearly two weeks. Eventually, I received a rejection email without any detailed feedback.
Feedback: The interview process is thorough and challenging, but candidate communication and closure could be improved, especially after investing considerable time across multiple rounds.
