Interview
Recruiter call, hiring manager interview, then multiple onsite interviews.
Standard call with recruiter however they were constantly busy and unresponsive so I had to chase them regularly throughout. They missed interviews and joined late for calls.
Hiring manager interview was more around Solutions Engineering role. Very technical call but not difficult.
Onsite interviews were weird... They explained the structure very well prior to attending, however during the interviews questions asked made no sense! Was asked about specific (unrelated) industries and politics which had no relevancy to the role. For the company fit interview they just read off a script but didn't want examples given to back up what I was saying... Trying to be conversational???
Feedback session was offered so when I took them up on the offer to provide feedback , I was ghosted. No response still after multiple chasers.

Interview
The entire recruitment process at GoCardless was as pleasant as possible. I'm deeply impressed by the company, its employees and its values. The hiring manager and the recruiter left an extraordinary positive impression. The recruitment process went as follows: an HR (recruiter) introduction chat, followed by an introduction chat with the hiring manager (senior SE), followed by a role-fit interview with the hiring manager + an AE, followed by a values fit interview with potential colleagues from other teams and a culture fit interview with a potential SE team member, and finally a presentation with senior stakeholders.
