I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Glovo (Barcelona) in Aug 2019
Interview
I did 3 parts of the process.
First one was some online test to assess logical thinking, personality and excel skills. I passed this test and was scheduled for a 30 min call interview with the Global Director few days later.
Over this call there were loads of questions shoot to assess my skills and motivation.
This part felt rushed, as the time was too limited, and the interviewer was not doing follow up questions on my answers, which gave the feeling of not so much interest.
At this point, I thought I was not passing to the following part, but I did.
The 3rd part was another online test consisting in mathematical problems (probability, statistics, etc.).
This test is very hard to complete. Having mathematical studies is not part of the job specs and I have never had to used this kind of skill in this area of work (I have 7 years experience in Fraud).
I have been dismissed after this test with a generic email, no personal feedback received on what it worked or not.
Honestly, I think they present this test to most of the roles, and I think this should be reconsider as they're probably losing talent testing people on irrelevant skills.
