Totally unprofessional interview procedure by the London branch combined with the headhunter agency they are using. First stage was headhunter called for arranging an HR interview date and time but during the call i was being asked couple of core java questions in the name of global relay without informing me the process beforehand. This was supposed to be arranging a date and time for the first stage of the interview but it turns out in every step you are having technical interview with Global Relay. This part was the first unprofessional step of Global Relay and its headhunter agency. Secondly stage was supposed to be an HR interview including couple of core java questions checking my java knowledge with mostly talk about company and myself. This was what i was informed by the recruitment agency as well. I wanted to have the third / technical interview stage later so i can prepare each step in details as i didn't have interviews for years. In the second stage - HR interview, I was interviewed with a team lead working at Global Relay since graduation. I briefly talked about what i do in my current position and then within minutes, immediately core java questioning began! No talk about Global Relay as a company or the role i am applying at! No asking about what my motivation is or what i am looking for. Pure technical interview supposedly an HR interview. This was the second unprofessional step from the company. I answered most of those core java questions of correct, however right after the first "I'm not sure" answer, i have been told immediately that they are looking for someone with deeper core java knowledge and wish me the best in my job search. I was already feeling this was a formality at the beginning of the interview. I was given the impression I've been crossed out for some reason so I was fine with it as well. The interview ended then and there. Zoom call finished. Again this is another sign of unprofessional interview procedure by Global Relay. Best to watch out for Global Relay to not wasting your time if you feel like they are just trying to eliminate you. I did interviews myself but never treated candidates this way,. Who knows why they went through this. maybe they already picked someone else. No matter what, I think this was the best outcome as a company's quality is shown by how it treats its employees and candidates.
