      Product Manager Interview

      22 Sept 2023
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Gipper in Aug 2023

      Interview

Not welcoming of long term career goals. Indicated a desire to go back to school or start own company in a year or two, and was immediately rejected because of that. So they want someone who is willing to commit for multiple years? But the job is technically at-will. And nowadays people can fire you for whatever reason. Gipper doesn't realize that they don't "own people" and especially for multiple years or longer. They really just "rent people" -- their time and expertise -- and hope they can get useful work out of them before they eventually leave like everyone else.
