I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at General Dynamics Mission Systems (Scottsdale, AZ) in Nov 2015
Interview
Applied while I was still college(ASU) around the same time as a campus job fair. Got a email a few weeks later about a college-interview day at the Scottsdale campus(GDC4). Interview took the whole day and consisted of presentations by managers, two separate 45-min interviews with project managers/team members, plus a group tour of the facility. Candidate group size was around 30 people. They asked a lot of behavioral questions and also asked about the kinds of projects I had worked on in the past. Only a few technical questions if any, nothing too tricky.

Interview
Panel style interview with 4 interviewers. More of like talk about yourself and your experiences and projects. I did have some very freshman-sophomore college level programing questions but no leetcode coding style.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at General Dynamics Mission Systems (Pittsfield, MA) in May 2026
Interview
The interview process involved 2 rounds of interviews. The first round was 30 minutes. During this round, the technical manager provided an overview about the work the company does. We lightly went over my resume and I was asked behavioral style questions. The second round was a 1 hour panel interview with 5 team members. Each member gave an overview about their work, explained the type of work I would be doing, and asked a mix of technical and behavioral questions. Everyone was really friendly and made an effort to make sure I felt comfortable during each interview.

Interview
Short 30-minute behavioral interview with senior SWE and hiring manager. Mostly talked about the contract, then asked me about my experience and myself, then asked to do 2 insanely easy coding problems in vscode/editor. No technical questions, seems I was already pre-vetted.
