I applied online. I interviewed at General Dynamics Electric Boat (Groton, CT)
Interview
Was flown out to Groton CT for an interview. After checking in I waited 2+ hours in the waiting room for my interview to start. Other candidates who showed up after me were taken in before me. HR didn't acknowledge me. Finally was taken in and given a tour and provided lunch. This group interview went great. I was told initially HR would meet with me after but they weren't around after to meet with. My application status is still "pending" after 5 months. I've reached out to HR a few times via email just for closure, and have not received responses. If I didn't get the position I am okay with it at this point, but it's very unprofessional and disrespectful to ignore a candidate especially after flying them out for an interview.

I applied online. I interviewed at General Dynamics Electric Boat (New London, CT)
Interview
At a general hiring event, they paired me with different engineers hiring for their respective teams. The interviews were generally based on a review of my resume, and how I felt I would fit into their respective team. Your individual experience will vary based on the team you are placed to interview for, as well as whoever is interviewing you. One person asked me a bunch of brain teasers, another just generally asked about my opinions on certain tasks to gauge if I would enjoy working in their team.
I was called in for an interview with travel expenses paid for including a hotel to spend the night. During the interview I was asked basic technical questions and was also asked to bring my transcript which the hiring person went over.
