I applied online. I interviewed at Geisinger (Bloomsburg, PA) in Aug 2019
Interview
I applied online, took a personality test, and then received an email to setup a phone interview. Setup a phone interview. Had the phone interview and then came in like a week later for a scheduled in-person interview. I was told it was going to be a panel interview. I show up and I'm given an IQ Test with antiquated coding questions, some of which were in C and some of which were in COBOL. This is wrong for many reasons, because mainly IQ tests have been studied over the years and aren't an accurate measure of anyone's intelligence. After failing this interview because I have an anxiety disorder that can make it extremely hard to do testing, I was ghosted by Geisinger and they no longer even reply to my applications. Probably not worth it for a company that has such discriminatory hiring practices. I'd imagine, they would be as inconsiderate in the workplace.
