The interview process consisted of 4 stages - an initial call with Garrison's internal recruiter, followed by 1 short technical interview (~30 mins) and one longer technical interview (~2 hrs), and then finally a 1-1 interview with the CTO (~30-45 mins). All interviews were over the phone or online over teams.
The majority of the interview process was very relaxed and enjoyable. Perhaps the only exception to this was the first, short, technical interview, which was very fast-paced and fairly intense, consisting of a series of short questions checking for a basic understanding of the key languages to be used in the role (python in my case!). However, at all stages the interviewers were clearly passionate about the company and keen to actively engage with me as a potential new-hire, with plenty of time for my own questions and 2-way dialogue.
