Interview
First was a 30 minute phone call behavioral interview with HR, followed by a one hour technical interview with an engineer using Coderpad. I applied through a university career fair and was reached out to by the HR department in about 2-3 weeks.

Question 1
Name a time you faced adversity in projects, what would you do if you were not going to make a deadline on a project.
Phone screen was a common tell me about yourself and why Garmin. They didn't ask any follow ups on your answered and seemed to just run through the list of the questions they had.

Interview
I had 1hr behavioral Interview and 1hr technical interview. Behavioral interview was about how I got to know the company, why should the company hire me, and what kind of research experience I had.
Process took about a month. Recruiter was slow getting back to me but interview process was alright. The interviewers were friendly and mainly focused on problem solving and how you think through your code.
