I applied online. I interviewed at GamePlan in Nov 2023
Interview
Interviewed for the Educational Account Executive role via Google Meet (camera on).
The interview itself was pretty straightforward and the questions were pretty basic about my background in education and why I was interested in this role.
However, the interviewer was so bland, monotone, and unenergetic that I had to struggle to keep a positive attitude throughout our conversation.

Question 1
Question asked by interviewer:
"Complete the sentence: Most sales people fail because ___."
The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at GamePlan
Interview
A Recruiter from Allianz Life of North America contacted me by phone and conducted an initial screening interview. From there, I had a phone interview with the executive team member I would be reporting to. They invited me to come in for a face to face interview. It was a panel interview with three managers. After that, I was asked to interview face to face with the managers of all the other departments, and finally, with the co-presidents of the company. It was a bit tedious.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at GamePlan
Interview
Several interviews: 1) Initial Phone Interview, 2) 2nd Phone Interview (with corp) 3) Face to Face Interview.
Sometimes it takes weeks to hear back once you have submitted a resume. They prefer to hire people that are referrals from current employees. Background checks take time, so you may be conditionally accepted and not get an answer fully for 2-3 weeks.
