I investigated this and asked my team about the sourcing efforts for the Director, Business Development role because GRIN is very much focused on our DE&I efforts. What I found is that our Diversity Sourcer reached out to about 50 people who had similar job titles and experience to what we're looking for and they only presented 4 to the recruiter. They reached out you because your job titles on LinkedIn seemed to be a potential fit, but your profile lacked detail for your jobs other than the title so they wanted to know more. After a few messages back and forth, it was deemed that you lacked the direct size, scope, and experience to meet what we are looking for.
