GMH Communities Trust interview questions

Had two interviews, both were about experiences. Both momagers were verry nice. It took about a month for me to start the job. It was one of the best companies I ever worked with.

Applied 7/26/21, requested for interview on 08/03/21.. interview was rescheduled with no explanation. Had zoom meeting, during the meeting, the interviewer told me they were looking to diversify their team because of everything that happened last year with the racial tension is America. They also told me that the campus was “not diverse in anyway” and they wanted to change that, which is why they opened up that role. I thought it was so weird to blatantly tell a person of color that, but I was still interested because, maybe I could help. They talked about structural changes, but turns out, there really wasn’t any changes. They just redid their website to go by last name instead of position so more people of color were placed on top and through out, (weird way to say you don’t actually care for change, but whatever). The interview, other than that went okay and I thought maybe I could help seeing as how I am a black woman with a focus on diversity and inclusion. After the interview, they said they would reach out to schedule a second interview. I sent an email thanking them for meeting with me and that I looked forward to continuing the process. I was ghosted. No communication, no auto-denial email, nothing. I should’ve realized something was off, but I wanted to believe that they actually cared for change.
