I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at GE Vernova (Munich, Bavaria)
Interview
I applied directly through the GE website, and within two weeks I was contacted by phone for the first (phone) interview. The interview consisted of a mixture of general HR and technical questions. It was scheduled for 30 min but went over an hour.
Within two weeks of the first interview I was called in for a second, personal interview. The interview was divided mainly into three parts:
- Technical presentation
- Technical "deep dive"
- HR / behavioral questions
The whole thing took about half a day.
The presentation and HR portions of the interview went well and I felt quite comfortable with the interviewers. None of the questions was tricky.
The technical part was conducted between my prospective colleagues and myself. It was a mixed bag. The majority of the time I was being asked questions that were more suitable for a different job. I also got the feeling that they were trying very hard not to "click" with me.
Two weeks later the job was cancelled. Given the complete lack of personal dynamics with my would-be co-workers, I would say this is not necessarily a disappointment.
Two further points, though:
1) At the end of both interviews, HR promised to contact me for feedback. These calls never took place.
2) The people I met at the interview appeared overworked and some indirectly admitted it.

Question 1
How much deviation (give a number) would you accept in a numerical model from (for instance) measurement data before it can be considered validated? Which (single-valued) parameter would you choose for the validation process and why?
ONE ROUND HR INTERVIEW , its in arabic except introduction , it stayed about 15 to 20 min. Questions was about your self , why you need to leave your job ? Abd why you need to work in GE ?
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at GE Vernova in Apr 2026
Interview
Starting with the TA who was supposed to schedule the interview: first she asked for preferred time of interview, then I received email with Teams link at the preferred time. When no one joined 5-6 mins after the scheduled time, I gave her a call to check. The response was: "That is an automated email, it doesn't mean interview is confirmed". Seriously ? An email with a teams link needs further confirmation? Our entire family had to rearrange their schedules for this childish lapse from such a "reputed" company and she was totally unapologetic and totally nonchalant about it.
Then she proceeded to schedule the interview without checking my preferred time. When I called her back to request a different time, response this time: "Interviewers are not available other than this time, other interviews are happening so you might lose out". Once again, Really ? Job postings are filled based on who can attend interviews early ?
Interview itself was ok, but no update for a week from the company on outcome - again showing minimal regard for candidates once they get what they need
The interview comprises of several segments, a general talk, followed by technical and non technical interview, interview with the manager, HR and with senior program managers. Each segment was divided between 30 minutes and one hour.
