was contacted on linkedIn by a friendly recruiter from GBG who organised a video interview. The process took 3 weeks because of the absence of the recruiter for a week. Questions about my previous experience. General C++ questions, OOP and design patterns questions. simple coding exercice (fibonacci) + very odd performance exercise with calls to same function with static member and very big loop 1000000 iterations. Other questions about exceptions safety. The interview didn't reflect the skills detailed in the job offer. I was told the interview would last 45 minutes tops. It ended up lasting 90 minutes, not great! The interviewers were generally friendly but didn't help much in resolving the problem. The connexion quality was not great so several technical issues made the whole thing a terrible experience
