I applied in-person. I interviewed at Future (London, England) in Apr 2025
Interview
First stage was with talent acquisition partner - it was around 30 minutes video call
Second stage was technical interview with team lead. It was around 45 minutes video call
Initial call -> behavioural -> take home task -> technical final stage. They will dig deep in the technicals and whether you get your answers right or wrong, they may accuse you of using AI. Not worth the insulting experience for a mere 45k salary.
This interview was for the DC office... The first step was a 45 minute phone interview that mixed culture fit questions with technical questions. The 2nd step was a 2 hour coding interview. The first hour was with one developer the 2nd hour was with another developer. The 3rd step was another hour long coding interview and then 2 30 minute interviews with hiring managers.
After all that they said the would get back to me in a week. They never did and they never replied to any follow up emails. Very unprofessional and disappointing to ghost me like that after putting in that much effort. Show some respect and let me know if I got it or not.
Hi. I head up the recruitment team here at Future and I am really sorry to hear you haven't had a great experience during our interview process. I know it's a competitive and rigorous process for our tech hiring and we ask a lot of you.
I'm very passionate about ensuring that candidates who take the time to meet with us through our interview process should receive feedback on their applications so I will be picking this up directly with the hiring team to ensure that they deliver on this.
I wish you all the best in your job search
