I first had a telephone interview which was just to get the feel of me which was fine. I then was invited to come and see them face to face, the Interviewer didn't send the address so I assumed it was to head office. Which I was snarled at a few employees there, met their boss who was trying their hardest to convince me to take up the chefs role due to my background instead of the assistant manager. I left that interview feeling rather disheartened by the whole ordeal. The next day I received another phone call asking to come in for another interview at the Palace. I agreed had a 1hour and 24 minute interview. I felt I got the job but I received a text for the interviewer asking to do a 3 hour trial shift. This time I was reluctant to agree but did so. The trial shift was more to be in the kitchen which I didn't mind but the dishonesty of the whole ordeal was crazy. The chef was confused as he had no idea about the position being available and how he told me they only want a Weekend Chef. I stayed 4 hours and 15 minutes at the trial and had to ask to leave as it was over the time. Terrible practice haven't got a clue. Staff seem really nice and friendly but the dishonesty was a major factor
