      Data Engineer Interview

      27 Feb 2019
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at FuelX

      Interview

Step 1: Recruiter Call Step 2: 2 hr coding test with sql, java problems Step 3: 3 hr remote onsite webcam screenshare coding round. (3 different people asked to write java, system design, sql, map reduce code) Step 4: 3 hr onsite at san mateo office: Interview with 3 people(initially planned 2 people) coding and system design. The interviewer asks if I am interested in Front End dev (though I applied for Data engineering position ) After spending many hours interviewing for this company the recruiter does not even give a proper feedback. They are not even sure what they are expecting from a candidate. Waste of time and totally unprofessional.

      Interview questions [1]
