I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at FreshBooks (Toronto, ON) in Feb 2023
Interview
Went through two out of four interviews before being turned down. The two interviews I participated were pretty standard for an experienced software engineering position: 1) screening call with a recruiter, 2) a one-on-one conversation with a technical lead on the team I was applying for. Both people I spoke to were warm and easy to speak to, and left me with a positive impression of FreshBooks, even though I didn't get an offer. Additionally, both people were _very_ forthcoming about the culture and challenges facing their company - much more so than you would usually get this early in the interview process.

Interview
I've got reached out by a recruiter, I didn't meet all the requirements but still got a first interview and they were considering me even when I didn't meet the experience criteria and they were really helpful and friendly

Interview
Easy interview process with first round technical chat with team lead and one other developer. Second round was a simple system design with 2 other developers. Team members seems nice however the experience with recruiter was not great. He kept asking for a week's time every time I ask for feedback, each time with a different excuse. Wasted more than a month to eventually decline the offer as they offered a lower position.
