I understand it is a small business and is run by one person, but interview process was extremely disrespectful, toxic, and unprofessional. I can reflect upon this interview a year later and confidently admit, it will be the worst interview of the entirety of my life.
As a then graduate during the pandemic and was indeed trying to find a job that could pay the bills, I could not imagine a worse interview. I was candid that about my social media expertise and background but my passion and ultimate end-destination is in project management. Then he proceeded to disrespect me by giving back to the world by "providing feedback to someone with less experience". Instantly, I regretted it because he spent over half an hour talking about his success and how what I was doing is not conducive to my career.
I am still upset with myself that I even gave him free consultation on how he could improve the outreach via analytic techniques and various platform usage.
Even if it wasn't only a $40k/salary, he had unreasonable expectations that the hiree would stay with him for a lifetime. Wells started picking out how my resume showcased how I unstable and lacks commitment for I didn't have years of experience with the same company, which is completely ridiculous as I spent the last year in college. This is to show I truly dodged a bullet because I cannot imagine anyone working under such an insecure man.
