I heard about the job through a recruiter. The process required thorough vetting through the recruiter, then a skype interview with the hiring manager and team, and then an onsite interview in Fremont, MI, at my expense.
I completed each step successfully, at my expense. Everything went fine.
Then, two weeks later, I was rejected because I did not have enough java experience, which was simply false. I have been profe4ssionally programming in java for major corporations since 2000.
I suspect I was rejected because of my age - 58, but of course they could not state that, so they made something up. Read this link:

This is not the first company that has done this. Now I am making a point of documenting through glassdoor every time this happens.
I hope other, older, competent workers like myself do the same.
