      Product Manager Interview

      11 May 2023
      Anonymous interview candidate
      New York, NY
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at FreeWheel (New York, NY) in May 2023

      Interview

terrible. The HR reach out to you last minute for all my interviews. The interviewer was late. The interviewer did not have his camera on the whole time while I had to have my camera on. He sounded half asleep. The interviewer do not know what they wanted. They were hiring for a product manager role but asking data scientist questions.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Tell me about yourself? Tell me a data science project? Tell me if you want to open a bike sharing program, what you will do to estimate the amount of bikes need? Tell me a time you failed to deliver a project?

      Product Manager Interview

      3 May 2019
      Anonymous interview candidate
      New York, NY
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at FreeWheel (New York, NY) in Mar 2019

      Interview

1 Phone screen with HR, 1 with Hiring manager, Onsite was suppose to be with 8 people but only about half showed up. Very disorganized company. Would not recommend this place as they have no respect for time or someone's attention to their company.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

The onsite interview was such a mess. 3 out of the 8 people we no where to be found. Of the remaining maybe 2 were decent and wanted me there. One PM just straight up gave me a an algorithm challenge (which I got right) and networking questions which had no relevance to the job I had applied for. I got no chance to ask questions after my case study presentation. Everyone just sort of wanted to get it over with.

      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through university. I interviewed at FreeWheel

      Interview

The process included three phases: 1- Phone screen - very easy - just a run through your background and making sure you know about the company and are genuinely interested 2- On-Site interview - You interview with all members of the team. I had 7 interviews. The interview themselves weren't that challenging. 3- Capstone Project - They give you two weeks to solve it 4- On-site presentation - Present findings of the Capstone project to the hiring committee

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

They hadned me a Capstone Project to implement a new feature in their product portfolio. I had two weeks to work on it and then presented my findings to the team.
