I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Foxen (Columbus, OH) in Mar 2024
Interview
The interview process was extremely communicative throughout, and I never had a moment wondering where I was at in the process or whether I was still in contention. The interviewers and recruiter were very transparent about the process and gladly answered any question that came up about the company or role. They made it very clear that they were looking for someone to contribute to the overall success of the company and not someone to just fill a seat or headcount.

Question 1
Can you describe a time where you had to push back on a stakeholder regarding a difference in thought and how did you manage it?
I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Foxen (Columbus, OH) in Nov 2023
Interview
The HR Recruiter contacted me and said Foxen had an open position for a Senior Software Engineer. After the initial phone screen, they set up a Zoom call with 2 of their team leads. They asked insightful, thought-provoking questions and were very professional.
I was invited to tour their office. The office itself is beautiful. I then enjoyed an interview with the other developers on my team. Both were gregarious and very easy to get along with.
Next I met with the Team Manager. Again, we had an instant rapport. Finally I met with the Director of IT, who explained Foxen's vision for the next few years, and I was sold immediately.
All in all, this was one of the most wonderful experiences I have had interviewing with a company!

Question 1
First was technical, but the second was more of a culture fit. One question was "If the CEO is here and needs to print a doc from his laptop but cant get connected to the network, what do you do?"
