Arrived 15 mins early to my interview for someone to tell me the manager forgot and went home that day. Manager then texts me with a lie. I drove 45 minutes there and 45 minutes back for nothing. She didn’t even attempt to reschedule my interview.
The interview lasted about 10 minutes. I had no prior experience as a server and I got offered a job during the interview. I filled out the welcome packet/onboarding materials and started a week or two later. It happened so quickly that the manager didn't know that the person in charge had hired me.
