Fine enough. Received a very cold email after a positive interview where they said they’d shared a pitch template and then never did. I sent the requested pitches, despite never receiving the template or editorial standards and was told my work was not up to their standards with no context.
The interview process was straightforward and efficient — recruiter screen, hiring manager interview, follow-up with the recruiter, meetings with a few department heads, and internal HR. Overall, it felt organized without unnecessary rounds or difficult negotiations.
I applied online. I interviewed at Fortune Magazine in Oct 2025
Interview
The HR lady will come first and hand over a written test, need to finish in 30 minutes. 2 questions, one is to draft an invitation email, another one is to suggest marketing idea. Afterwards, the manager will come in and start the verbal interview. Regular interview quesitons, she is pretty nice. Whole process cost around 15 minutes.
