The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Forte Research Systems (New York, NY)
Interview
HR was efficient and responsive. I went through the entire process but did not receive an offer.
1. HR Phone Interview
2. Team Phone Interview- 2 employees from the product support team discussed my interests and career path with me. They answered my questions about Forte and the position
3. Onsite interview with team- a 5-10 person interview with the product support team. This group included some newer hires, senior team members and supervisors. They asked a lot of personality and culture questions. This included a skills test where I was taken to another room and called by my interviewers to solve a basic issue (I was given three choices)
4. Cross functional onsite interview: met with other groups and answered questions. This was followed my a great meeting with the position supervisor. I then met with three different VPs. One was delightful, and the other two were nice but seemed unprepared for the interview. They were worried about repeating questions. Finally I met again with HR to go over benefits.
5. Notice of no offer was given in less than a week.
Overall it took a lot of time, but I met some great people and got a good sense of the company and position.

Question 1
tell me about a situation where there was nothing you could help a customer. how did you handle it?
The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Forte Research Systems (Madison, WI)
Interview
I had a phone interview first with the head of team I would work on and the head of the department. It went pretty well with typical phone interview questions. They said they would get back to me in a day maybe two. The interview was on a Wednesday so I sent an email on Monday to see if they had any updates. Eventually they got back to me on Thursday (8 days) after the interview. They said they would like for me to come in for an in person interview and gave me a sample issue to walk the customer (the team) through.. It started out with the sample call with the team listening on a speaker line where I helped them with their issue. They had given me a choice of 3 before hand. Then the interview included most of the team (around 15) at a table asking me different questions. That was a bit intimidating but I thought I did ok. This interview was also on a Wednesday and they said they would get back to me within a day. Eventually on the following Tuesday they responded that I didn't get the job. Overall I didn't mind waiting a week to know about the result but I would rather them have said it would take a few days to week instead of saying how they responded quickly and got back to people in a day.
