      Parts Advisor Interview

      25 Apr 2026
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Leicester, England
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Ford & Slater (Leicester, England)

      Interview

The interview process was straightforward. Preparation required research on the company and making a slideshow. After the interview, contact was made promptly, and a work trial was offered. Despite the purpose of the work trial being presented as an opportunity for me to decide if the role was right for me, rather than as part of the assessment process. It later became clear that it was also being used to evaluate candidates, which could have been communicated more clearly. During the work trial, I observed that the workplace was quite laid back and casual. However, the language being used at times was crude including rude and inappropriate comments about colleagues.
