I applied online. I interviewed at Foot Locker (Boston, MA) in Oct 2019
Interview
I was greeted at the door by the Store Manager, he was stressed and I could tell he was agitated but he kept his composure throughout the whole interview. Dress for the role in which you are applying. I wore human races but still kept it business casual and paired it with a turtle neck. He complemented my shoes. Make sure you are content and clear with your awnsers, they will take note of your confidence and when it comes time for you respond to their questions, don’t try to give the “right awnser”, just be yourself.

Question 1
Why should I hire you? What can you bring to the table that could better the company?
I applied online and got a phone call a week later to do the in person interview. In person I had to visit the store and ask for the manager that contacted me.
It was 10-15 minutes. Went pretty easy. They asked about me random questions and then told me about the job. The interviewer was nice and told me not to worry and that it is just general things.
The interview was quick and easy. They asked basic sales-related questions and just wanted to make sure you would be pleasant and helpful. No in-depth shoe knowledge is necessary. Not for you if you want to be a laid back sales person.
