I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Food Lion (Charlotte, NC) in Jan 2017
Interview
I applied for the job online. A few days passed and the manager contacted me for an in person interview a few days later. I went in for the interview with numerous years of big box retail management and even managed a government agency branch. Once I arrived to the interview 15m early I still had to wait past the scheduled interview time about 15m. Once the interview started I was told they hadn't been able to download my resume off of there computer. Interview was very easy and short. The manager seemed unprepared to even give the interview. I met the person who was in the position currently she seemed nice. Honestly the interview seemed pointless as I later found out.
Easy, fast and efficient. Casual attire is ok but you make a better impression and stand out from other candidates if you put effort into your appearance. Process is quick from interview to onboarding.

Interview
Easy. You enter and are asked questions such as "How do you deal with difficult decisions?" "Name a time you disagreed with a supervisor/member of management; how did you resolve it?" "Where do you see yourself in 5 years?" Things of the sort. No hard ball questions, in my opinion.

Interview
I was interviewed by the store manager and assistant store manager. Over all they were both very welcoming and laid back. I felt very comfortable during the interview. The interview flowed more like a conversation rather than an interview, which was nice.
