The FS recruiter reached out to me via careerbuilder. Started with a fairly easy and informational phone interview. I was offered an on-site interview for the following week. It began with basically a competency test followed by the actual interview with the hiring manager and the CEO. The former was incredibly nice and easy to talk to. The CEO on the other hand...he came off as very rude and condescending. He asked strange/unrelated questions. He would ask me to explain something on my resume and after a minute or two of explanation, he would look exasperated as if I had said entirely too much and it annoyed him. His phone went off several times. Now, I can understand that the CEO is a very busy person and I'm just a potential hire, but it really showed me how big of a priority I would be had I worked there. I was required to take a personality exam of sorts prior to the interview so that they could go over "what kind of person I am and if I would fit in the role". This was a very strange strange experience and honestly, the results and its addition to the interview didn't make much sense. Finished the interview off by going around the office and speaking with 2-3 potential coworkers. Everyone said the job "sucks" for the first year, which was very troubling to hear. I also found out most workers (around 30 in total) have been there for less than two years because they "couldn't handle it"....The entire interview lasted around 3 hours (which would have been a BIG problem had I been working at the time, luckily I wasn't).
