Interview
My first interview with the recruiter was a very positive experience. She was friendly, open, and answered all my questions clearly. The next step was the technical interview with the team. I really liked the position and felt confident that I had all the required skills for it. The interview itself went smoothly, the conversation was friendly, and I left with a great impression of the company and the team.
However, the next day I received a message saying the company had decided to proceed with another candidate. Since I had already reached the second stage, I was hoping to receive some kind of feedback. Whether related to my skills, experience, or interview performance, I just wanted to understand how I could improve. I even sent a friendly follow-up expressing that I truly enjoyed the interview and kindly asked for feedback, but unfortunately, I never received a response.
The questions during the interview were quite basic, nothing too challenging for someone with certifications such as ICA or CAMS. I completely understand that not everyone can be selected, but it would be great to see a more human and respectful approach (at least by providing some feedback after multiple interview rounds).
Rejection is part of the process, but this silence is quite discouraging. It took me some time to recover emotionally after this experience, as I genuinely cared about the opportunity.

Question 1
Do you have a crypto wallet?
Some behavioral questions about the onboarding process. Basic knowledge of AML legislation.
The first round was with HR, a very nice and professional interviewer. She explained the process clearly and provided some basic information about the company, including the salary range (which I really appreciated).
The second round, however, left me with mixed feelings. It was supposed to be a technical interview, but a lot of the questions focused on my personal background. While I understand that getting to know a candidate is part of the process, it felt like it went a bit too far and bordered on inappropriate. The questions were asked one after another, in a way that made me feel as something was being implied. As if there was something wrong with me, like I am a criminal or smth.
It took me a couple of days to recover after a call.
