I interviewed at Flipkart(PhonePe). The initial discussion was telephonic where the guy asked Android related questions. The questions were good and I like the knowledge of the guy.
Later, I was invited for the F2F interview. The first round was DS/Algo where the guy asked two scenario based questions. I answered the first one explaining the complexity and data structure while for the next one, I gave a solution which was partially correct.
He said I am not expecting the exact solution as the question itself is pretty tough and requires time to solve it. I just wanted to test the thinking process. Overall, it was a pretty healthy discussion. Later, he starts giving some random logic for solving the second question which I thought was not correct. :P
After, 20 min wait someone said that the interviewer didn't want to proceed further without explaining what went wrong.
My take - I felt that it was very random, I was not even evaluated properly. The guy seems to have no experience of taking interviews, he is working for Flipkart since ages and has no idea about how to evaluate. This happens when junior level people take the interview.
When I asked about the technologies PhonePe using for the backend, he was not able to answer and gave me a random reply that you can use any technology you want. As an Android developer, I just need Rest API's and doesn't care much what is happening in the backend.
