The hiring process was bit different since the HR/Recruiter calls and asks you some pre-screening TECHNICAL questions. This is bit different then other places since onus of that is left to Engineers and not HR. After successful pre-screening, we moved over to hiring manager which went well and was followed by onsite.
Onsite interview was pretty intense since it involved deep knowledge of almost all the protocols such as ARP, OSI Model, etc etc. At the end of the interview, you get to interview with VP of Operations...all went well and the offer was rolled out.
However, even though they themselves take a month for decision, they wont wait more than 3 days for your decision once the offer is roled out. This was unprofessional since I clearly told them that I need to respect time of all other companies where I started to interview in the last one month, but this senior guy is hoping to lock you in for a little less money.
Eventually, I saw LinkedIn of the hiring manager and it seems he too left from this toxic environment since this senior person was tough to work with
