There were multiple interviews and were done by Zoom. Different levels of interviews with Editors, Managers and VP. They also asked a lot of industry specific questions to make sure on knowledge.

They asked a lot of industry specific questions to know you had specific industry knowledge on what you would be writing about.
There were three staff involved including an editor, manager and division manager. The interviews were done virtually by zoom with the various managers. The interview questions were very technical compared to other interviews.

Interview
Interview process is a fairly long drawn out process with candidate talking to various people going up the chain. It took about six weeks from when I first heard from them to the final part of the process.
