The process began with speaking briefly with a talent acquisition agent, roughly 15 minutes. Then the 2nd interview was 1 week later with the manager of the hiring department for the position. This interview was roughly 45 minutes and was 1 on 1. Then there was a 3rd interview held by the 3 persons whom I would work along side in the department another week after the second interview. This interview was 30-45 minutes long. Lastly, there was a 4th interview with the manager for the manager of the department and this was scheduled to be 30-45 minutes also.
After setting aside times for all 4 interviews over 1.5 months time, it ended in the department sending a generic email stating they will not be filling the position externally at this time. Very disappointing to have put in so much time away from my current role and so much effort into selling myself to so many different people along the way to get such a cold ending and no full explanation.
