I am sorry to hear of the negative experience.
Ideally, we have three points of interaction: an HR Call, a technical interview with a First Factory Tech Lead or Engineering Manager, and a client interview. With over 40 active clients, from startups to Fortune 500 companies, each process can vary. We try to respect the client's internal processes but always discuss the importance of moving swiftly, to show the value for the applicant's time and to increase the odds of having a potential offer accepted. We have given this client feedback and they are adapting but will continue to have one of the more rigorous processes considering the nature of their application base and how quickly they are expanding their business. This is why they are looking for senior engineers - for quality, expertise and more independence when working to achieve goals.
When we interview, even though we may be looking to place someone for a specific client need, we look at the applicant as a long-term employee, hopefully having many opportunities along their time with us. Our recruitment team should serve as an agent, acting on your behalf, working with you now and in the future to identify the best fit, whether with an immediate open client need or a future one.
Should you wish to provide more feedback to me directly, please do not hesitate:
