A major red flag for any job applicant: I received an offer, accepted it, confirmed a start date - and two days later the offer was withdrawn due to an “internal business review.” The recruitment process itself took around two months and was mostly positive: recruiter call, case study, and interviews with the hiring manager were professional and pleasant. I've shared I had offers from competing companies, and confirmed during my final call (two days before the withdrawal) that I would be declining them to accept theirs.
The withdrawal was communicated via a short email. When I followed up to ask whether any other opportunities existed, I received no response. Regardless of the reason, this reflects very poor internal coordination and a lack of respect for candidates.
