      Software Engineer II Interview

      15 Mar 2022
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Pune
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Finastra (Pune) in Mar 2022

      Interview

Completely scam & hazardous. I had an interview with Finastra(Pune) location. All interviews rounds were as follows. 1 - Codility coding test 2- technical L1 3- technical L2 4- Managerial cum Technical. Round 1 : Practice some sample questions in Codility to get hands on the code ground. Sometimes questions may repeat as well, so there is a chance of getting 2(total 4 types were there, 2 coding and 2 more section with mcq) repeated questions. Sometimes pannel crunch u have to face, means you have to wait more than 3 hours to give an interview of 20 mins due to unavailability of pannel or interviewer. If cleared then L1. Technical L1: The interviewer was so calm and really communicative and encourages u to take ur time, and answer to the point. They basically see the analytical skills and how depth u have acquired on the base line of the technology. If cleared then Technical L2. Technical L2 : Here also same with really really unexpected questions. Again judgement would be based on how clearly u understand the problem and solve it. U will get thread , basic oops realtime implementation, hibernate advance configuration, spring advance questions , and microservices questions. If this is cleared then Managerial Managerial : This is namesake managerial, infact you would expect it to b technical also. Atleast for me it was also technical. The most annoying things happened after this round. 1- They will disagree and defer to give the CTC that u previously had informed. 2- they will allocate you to some other location and force you to relocate. 3- they will tell you to buy out the Notice period but they wouldn't do. the most hazardous n heptic sh*t yet to come. 4- they will send u 1 aptitude test contains 50- 55 questions that includes English and mental ability type questions as well. And time allocated for that would be just 22 mins. Now guess what.. If u r not able to clear that round then boom, u just got hell out of the race.(i was thrown out in this sh*t). Advice to management : Doesn't matter if u r not caring ur time, atleast do respect candidates valuable time.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

-Oops real time implementation s - System. out. println(null) - what's the output. - String and Integer class internal implementation. - JVM internal architectureand working knowledge - Thread and garbage collector process. -finally Collection internal implementation - some disign related that to to check memory leak and to prevent that. -how to design a system to deal with huge data retrieval process. etc.
