It was a first round zoom interview. The interviewer was very nice and relatable. He talked about how the company operates as well as what they do as a company. He also talked about the numerous advancement opportunities they have available.

With no warning, the interviews are made into group interviews. The interviewer was also late. The position is more of a face-to-face sales position than anything else with very low pay and an informal promise for higher pay later on. The hours are much later than normal corporate hours and the role requires you to work most weekends.

Cattle call interview - single interviewer, multiple simultaneous candidates. Questions were surface-level behavioral questions intended to gauge candidate receptiveness. Interview was not for position advertised, but for door-to-door sales, which the interviewer was fairly evasive about until the very end of the interview. There is nothing wrong with door to door sales but being dishonest about the position being advertised for, such as requesting communications professionals for a door to door sales position, is simply wrong.
