I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Financial Times (London, England) in Apr 2025
Interview
1st call was with HR, then call with hiring manager, then a task. Task was a blind test of creating a B2B event from scratch from an article provided. Time between interviews is long and there were weeks of silence. Pretty lengthy process, but overall alright.

Question 1
Tell me about yourself and experiences with events.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Financial Times (London, England) in Nov 2022
Interview
3 rounds of interviews. First a phone call with the FT recruiter, then a video interview, and finally a presentation to give at their offices. After over a month of the interviewing process, I was offered a job with a lower title than applied for, and a £7K salary decrease from what I am on in my current role, as they said they “liked me but didn’t think I had enough experience”. There was no mention of this throughout the interview process, and of course, no salary range given or discussed. This was very disappointing, and I was unimpressed by the lack of transparency the whole way along. A waste of time for all parties.
